On display at Miami's The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU now through February 28 is Carola Bravo's Blurred Borders.

The art exhibition is based on Bravo's story of immigrating from her native Venezuela to the United States.

Bravo spoke with Change Your Life Travels about the impact travel has had on her life. Read on...

Traveling has made me understand that life is in constant movement and we have to move with it.

It's inspired my work through the concept of movement, flexibility and adaptability.

The concept of travel lives within me. Why? As immigrants, even though we try everything to belong to a new place, we continue to embody the concept of movement and our foreign origins.

I hope Blurred Borders evokes memories of everyone’s countries and that those origins can still be passed on to future generations.

What lives in our memories never dies.

Every place I've visited has touched my life in different ways, especially through the activation of all my senses.

New experiences and meeting people from around the globe is key to understanding the world.

Of course, Miami, being the place where I live in now, has been very important in the development of my artwork.

Here, I've met people who've changed my life in a very positive way.

And when we think of travel, isn't it as simple as that? Thank you, Carola Bravo, for adding richness to both experiences and the senses by sharing both your story and Blurred Borders with the world.
